Mineral Toothpaste
Risewell was developed by dentists and uses hydroxyapatite (specifically micro-crystalline) to remineralize teeth. It is one of the cleanest formulas on the market, safe enough to eat.
Quality & Materials
Contains Wild Mint, Xylitol, and Orange Peel Oil. Completely free of all sulfates, parabens, and artificial sweeteners.
Evidence & Testing
Developed by a team of dentists; however, they have fewer published clinical trials on their specific finished product compared to Sensodyne or Boka.
Brand Transparency
Good transparency on ingredients, though less specific about the particle size of their hydroxyapatite compared to Davids.
Value Assessment
Premium pricing that is standard for the boutique 'clean' oral care category.
Why Not Alternatives?
Risewell uses micro-hydroxyapatite rather than nano-hydroxyapatite. While some prefer this for safety (avoiding nanoparticles), nano-HAp generally has better data for tubule occlusion. However, Risewell's flavor profile is widely considered superior to Boka.
